how pigment spots are formed?

Several pigments are responsible for human skin color, the most important of which is melanin. By absorbing ultraviolet radiation, it serves as the skin's natural protection against the damaging effects of the sun's rays. Under the influence of a number of unfavorable factors, certain skin areas can accumulate melanin, forming pigment spots

One of the most effective ways to combat pigmentation is through laser pigmentation treatment. At the Skin Life Clinic pigmentation treatment is performed using the latest BIOTECH XLASE PLUS medical system

Biotec Laser

Xlase Plus represents a unique innovation among laser technologies, and that is why it fully meets the needs of the medical professional. Xlase Plus has a modular design that offers many application solutions, one of which is laser pigmentation treatment.

how does it work?

The procedure itself looks like a series of rapid light flashes over the pigmented skin area. The removal of the pigmented spot is painless: the patient may only feel a slight tingling sensation at the site of the beam. If the hypermelanosis is located in an area of high sensitivity, local anesthesia may be applied in order to avoid unpleasant sensations for the patient.

Is the CPL treatment painful?

It is possible to feel a slight discomfort during treatment, but this is well tolerated by the majority of patients. The first treatment is usually the most irritating, then the procedure becomes more tolerable. The time required for a treatment usually varies from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the area to be treated.
